Although the main premiere from Mercedes at this year’s NAIAS Auto Show in Detroit, are the new generation C-Class ( W205 ) and serial GLA45 AMG ( with 360Hp and 450 Nm ), attention certainly attracts and the new version of the S600 S -class luxury sedan. After last November in Los Angeles, and promotion of new Mercedes S65 AMG, in Detroit is official premiered a new Mercedes S600 with a 6.0 -liter V12 engine with 390 kW/530Hp and 830 Nm of torque, combined with the 7G -TRONIC PLUS transmission. The acceleration of this model from 0 to 60mph takes 4.6 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 155mph.
Mercedes S600 will of course feature every conceivable luxury and advanced technology that the German factory currently has to offer. The cat boasts head- up display, touchpad, COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS, LED Intelligent Light System, MAGIC BODY CONTROL, DISTRONIC PLUS, PRE-SAFE Brake and PRE-SAFE PLUS, and much more. Sales of new Mercedes S600 will officially start in March this year, while the price will be announced later.
