This limited edition gift box was created by Pierrette Trichet, Cellar Master of the House of Rémy Martin, and Gilles Marchal, Master Pastry Chef, Chocolatier and Creative Director at La Maison du Chocolat. The flavours of cocoa and chocolate blend well with the warm and autumnal flavours of Rémy Martin XO Excellence, which can be served neat or on the rocks. The box also has a tasting guide inside, which has been written by Trichet and Marchal.

The tasting note reads: At first, the intensity of the chocolate highlights the fullness of the fruity notes (plum, apricot, date) of the XO Excellence. On tasting the ganache a second time, the chocolate and caramel flavors of the milk chocolate blend nicely with the delicate spicy notes of the cognac.

The limited edition gift set will have just 250 pieces produced world-wide. Only 20 editions of this perfect Christmas gift will be available at Harrods, United Kingdom in October at a price of £275 ($430).
