Disney fairytale continues at London store Harrods. Iconic Disney Princesses have inspired not only renowned designers to create Disney Princess dresses collection that adorns Harrods‘ Christmas windows for 2012, but also the prestigious Swiss luxury watch and jewellery maker Chopard to design ten unique High Jewellery pieces unveiled at the Chopard Boutique at Harrods.
The main characteristics of Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Tiana, perceived by Chopard’s co-president and artistic director Caroline Scheufele, are transformed in a playful one-off jewelry pieces.
“I have always loved the world of fantasy and honoured the relationship that Chopard has with the film industry. The world of Walt Disney has often been an inspiration for a variety of Chopard pieces and I am very happy to have been given the opportunity to design the famous Princesses’ pieces of jewellery. Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel… and all the other ones have been a great source of inspiration for me, giving birth to this new elegant yet playful collection of High Jewellery – a perfect expression of the Chopard aesthetic.” says Caroline Scheufele.
The Disney Princess Collection by Chopard will be shown exclusively at Harrods until January with all of these stunning jewelry pieces available for sale.
