Bertone Reveals An Exclusive Aston Martin Wagon

At the Geneva Motor Show 2013 Bertone company will present Shooting Brake concept which is based on Aston Martin Rapide. In this way, two manufacturers will mark sixty years since the beginning of cooperation. The prototype of this car in the company is named the Bertone Jet 2+2, in order to emphasize the connection to the concept of Jet 2 from 2004, which is basically a Shooting Brake version of the Aston Martin Vanquish. Although it is claimed that the car was commissioned by a wealthy Aston Martin collector who wanted something unique, it is not difficult to imagine that Aston Martin could customers in the future offered the serial version of this car. This is supported by the fact that the Porsche at the Paris Motor Show in September 2012 introduced the concept of Sport Turismo Panamera, which also indicated wagon version of its four-seater. The rear seats can overlap, thus providing additional cargo space. Shooting Brake version is based on the standard Rapide model, and not on its recently introduced, Rapide S variant. It is expected to be the under the hood the engine of 9 liter, V12 powerplant that is capable of producing 477 hp and 600 Nm of maximum of torque.
