To begin with, all the villas of this resort near the pools of which twenty-four, as well as ten private residences, fully use solar energy for all their needs. Six Senses Fiji has the largest micro-network in Fiji, with the help of Tesla batteries. Also, this resort uses low-power filter pools, both in its envelope and in the residences it offers, next to refrigerators and air conditioning units that have very little effect on the natural environment. The sensors in the villas of this resort will automatically shut off the climate as soon as the door is opened in order to save energy.

Regarding waste, this resort is also different from others because they created a septic system based on tiger worms and a compost program, or waste of food converted into fertilizers, which is then used in the production of the same foodstuffs. Even wastewater is treated so that it can be used in the irrigation system.
The resort follows these practices in other parts of it, employing locals to grow plants and vegetables in special gardens. In addition, from locally grown plants they make their own tonics, ginger beer and probiotics.
