1960 Aston Martin DB4GT Bertone ‘Jet’ Expected Reach $5.95 million

Aston Martin cars have always been on the front of British luxury manufacturers. And these days when Aston Martin celebrated its centenary, its older models reaches an incredible price at auctions. 1960 Aston Martin DB4GT Bertone ‘Jet’ with Italian-built coachwork will go under hummer at the 14th annual Bonhams auction of Aston Martin and Lagonda motor cars at Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell, on 18th May. This classic among the cars is one of its type ever built, and expected to realize a price between $4.38 and $5.95 millions.

In the year 1960, the British automaker commissioned Bertone to conceive and build a special GT version of the DB4GT, to be premiered at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show. The finished design was penned by a young Giorgetto Guigiaro, and the car was then named ‘The Jet’. The car in question which has 12 awards including ‘First in Class’ at Pebble Beach and the Hurlingham Club, is being offered on sale for the first time in over 25 years.

Rich period for fans of Aston Martin. Of course only those with deep pockets will be able to afford an Aston Martin.
